During a video call, you can mirror your iPad screen on your laptop so that your conversation partner can see what is happening on it. At Therapy Box, we use this technique to organise online trainings for our AAC apps.
There are different ways to display an iPad/Android screen on your laptop and then sharing it over a video call. This is how we usually do it:
1) plug your device (iPad, iPhone, Android tablet, etc.) to your computer
2) open QuickTime Player and start a new movie recording
3) then select your plugged device from the list
4) share your laptop screen with your patient using the platform you prefer (in this tutorial, we used Google hangout)
